ZAHRA AKHONDI, D.D.S
Dr. Akhondi received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from CA State University, Fullerton in 1995. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Dentistry from New York University in 1999 and then continued to practice dentistry for two years in Manhattan, NY.
Dr. Akhondi moved to San Francisco and worked as an associate for ten years in Fremont and San Mateo offices before opening this practice in San Carlos, CA. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years.
She has been living in Belmont with her husband and two daughters for the past 18 years.
She loves the wilderness, hiking, biking, and camping with her family on the weekends.

Ayda is a dental hygienist who started in dentistry right out of high school as a dental assistant. She has a passion for teeth and caring for her patients, over 5 years of dental experience. She became and RDH after extending her education. In her free time she enjoys hiking and outdoors activities.

Office Manager
Ruby is a registered Dental Assistant and Office Manager with more than 15 years of experience working with Dr. Akhondi. Ruby is very friendly and helpful to her patients, speaks fluent Spanish, She enjoys hiking and rock climbing on weekends with her husband and lovely 5 years old daughter.
STEPHANIE
Dental Assistant
Stephanie is a friendly and dedicated Dental Assistant who has worked with Doctor Akhondi for more than 10 years. She speaks fluent Tagalog and enjoys working closely with patients, making sure they get the best dental experience at their visit. She enjoys hiking and bowling on her weekends.
